Job summary

CommandLink in a 100% remote role seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own and evolve the security product's API and UI end-to-end. You will drive architecture, data contracts, and telemetry integration, working across teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

You bring production-grade Go experience, a strong full-stack perspective, and a proven ability to reason through unfamiliar domains, guiding complex, fast-moving features with rigor.

Qualifications

• Deep, production-proven experience with Go and full-stack development.
• Strong API design and contract-driven development experience.
• Comfort designing for high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure.
• Ability to ramp into new domains quickly and reason clearly about unfamiliar systems.
• Track record of owning architectural decisions in cross-functional spaces.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and long-term direction of the security product's API and UI.
• Define and enforce data contracts between the product and alert/ingestion services.
• Learn and integrate telemetry sources into a consistent model for analysts.
• Make cloud environments and their audit trails a first-class part of the product.
• Surface enriched entities and topology to aid incident investigation.
• Drive architectural decisions in ambiguous spaces and ensure durable outcomes.
• Set technical patterns and standards for the team to build against.
• Mentor engineers on Go and production-grade practices.
