Job summary

Scalepex is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead backend and platform design for a modern multi-tenant SaaS product. You will own core services, database design, and API integrations while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.

You’ll work in a fast-growing B2B environment with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and performance. Remote, contractor-friendly role with involvement during US business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Full Stack or Backend development experience.
• Expert knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Node.js.
• Experience with Next.js App Router.
• Advanced PostgreSQL knowledge: schema design, raw SQL, migrations.
• Experience building scalable SaaS applications with multi-tenant architecture.
• OAuth 2.0 and Webhooks integration experience.
• Automated testing and CI/CD familiarity.
• Excellent written English and ability to work US hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own PostgreSQL database architecture, schema design, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, OAuth integrations, and third-party platform connections.
• Develop and improve multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure and background job schedulers.
• Write automated unit and end-to-end tests and audit systems for reliability and security.
