Nowcom Global Services, LLC is hiring a Senior Security Developer for a Permanent Work From Home role. You will lead the end-to-end development of a security platform, including the detection engine, alert routing, and SOC tooling.

Expect deep collaboration with AI/LLM, DFIR, and threat-hunting teams to deliver scalable security capabilities. The role demands 8–10 years of hands-on security-focused full-stack engineering, strong Python/Go skills, and experience with OpenSearch, PostgreSQL,

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on full-stack engineering in security platforms.
• Strong Python and/or Go for microservices and automation at scale.
• Vue.js frontend experience with real-time SPAs and secure UX.
• Production experience with OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, and Redis for high-throughput pipelines.
• Knowledge of SIGMA rules, MITRE ATT&CK, IOC/TTP correlation.
• Telemetry integration from network sensors (Suricata/Zeek/NeuVector).
• Kubernetes production deployments and operations (Rancher/RKE2 a plus).
• Understanding SSDLC, OWASP, and end-to-end TLS security practices.

Responsibilities

• Own security platform, detection engineering, and full-stack automation at scale.
• Build core components: detection engine, alert/incident management, and rule pipeline.
• Integrate security controls into Kubernetes infra and MCP Server integrations.
• Develop security automation in Python/Go; REST APIs for Vue frontend and backend services.
• Improve the correlation engine: event clustering, severity scoring, IOC enrichment.
• Develop APIs across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Automate incident response workflows and real-time log pipelines.
• Package microservices with hardened configs, TLS, and secure auth.
• Maintain docs and runbooks for Ops teams to operate independently.
• Lead secure coding practices with OWASP/SSDLC and code reviews.
