Job summary

Nowcom Global Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Security Developer for a fully remote, permanent role. You will design and build a security platform, focusing on detection, alerting, correlation, and SOC tooling across a Kubernetes stack.

You will collaborate with AI/LLM and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable security solutions, employing Python/Go, Vue.js, and modern data stores. Remote in the Philippines region is supported with nationwide applicants.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on full-stack engineering in production security platforms or tooling.
• Strong Python and/or Go for microservices, REST APIs, and security automation at scale.
• Frontend proficiency in Vue.js for real-time SPAs with security-focused UX.
• Production experience with OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, and Redis for high-throughput pipelines.
• Familiarity with detection engineering concepts: SIGMA rules, MITRE ATT&CK, IOC/TTP.
• Hands-on experience integrating telemetry from network/sensors like Suricata, Zeek, NeuVector.
• Proven Kubernetes deployment/operations in production environments.
• Solid SSDLC, OWASP practices, data encryption and end-to-end TLS.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core security platform: detection engine, alert management, incident management, and rule management pipeline.
• Integrate security controls into Kubernetes-native infrastructure and MCP Server tool integrations for AI/LLM layers.
• Write security automation in Python and Go — REST APIs for the Vue.js frontend and backend services.
• Develop the correlation engine: event clustering, severity scoring, IOC enrichment, blast radius assessment.
• Create APIs and integrations across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, container security, and threat intel feeds.
• Automate incident response workflows and optimize multi-source log pipelines for real-time monitoring.
• Package and deploy microservices in Kubernetes with hardened configurations and secure auth.
• Keep security architecture docs, playbooks, and runbooks up to date for autonomous ops.
• Lead by example on secure coding: OWASP, SSDLC, peer reviews, hardened configurations across services.
