Job summary

Lean Solutions Group (LSG) seeks a Staff Accountant to support monthly accounting close, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and manage the Oracle Fixed Asset system. You will work with a remote U.S.-based finance team on a structured monthly cadence, focusing on month-end close in the first seven business days and balance sheet reviews thereafter.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 1+ years of general accounting, and hands-on Oracle/NetSuite experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1+ years of general accounting experience, including month-end close responsibilities.
Hands-on experience with Oracle (Fixed Asset module) preferred; NetSuite experience is a plus.
Practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting standards.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliations.
Professional written and verbal English communication for remote cross-border collaboration.
High attention to detail with a track record of meeting monthly close deadlines.
Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while aligning with U.S. business hours during close.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries to support the monthly close.
Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve items.
Manage Oracle Fixed Asset platform: additions, transfers, disposals, WIP, depreciation.
Conduct P&L analysis before month-end close and flag variances.
Assist with monthly financial statements and balance sheet reviews.
Review GL coding on AP invoices for accuracy.
Set up and maintain vendor master records in ERP.
Support overflow work, audits, and process improvements.
