Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join the International Accounting Team. You will maintain general ledgers, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support monthly close across US and international entities.

The role emphasizes process improvements and strong controls in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Qualified accountants with ACA/ACCA/CIMA and advanced Excel skills, plus hands-on NetSuite experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong accounting experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with third-party accounting providers and multi-entity work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger for US & International entities.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with statutory accounts & year-end audits.
• Coordinate with tax and accounting providers on reporting.
• Support month-end close and variance analysis for management.
