Job summary

Lean Solutions Group (LSG) is seeking a Staff Accountant to support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset management. This role works with a remote U.S.-based finance team on a structured cadence, emphasizing month-end close in the first seven business days.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with 1+ years in general accounting. Proficiency in Excel and Oracle Fixed Asset; NetSuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years in general accounting with month-end close experience.
• Hands-on Oracle Fixed Asset experience; NetSuite a plus.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting standards.
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliations.
• Proficient written and verbal English for remote collaboration.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet close deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to support monthly close.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Manage Oracle Fixed Asset platform including depreciation.
• Conduct P&L analysis and escalate variances as needed.
• Assist with monthly financial statements and balance sheet reviews.
• Review GL coding on AP invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain vendor/supplier master data in ERP systems.
• Support audit requests and process improvements.
