Job summary

Nautical Staffing is seeking an experienced accountant in the Philippines to own our financial records with a focus on US healthcare accounting. You will keep books accurate, compliant, and organized while managing daily data and providing clear insights to management.

The role requires 3–5 years in US healthcare accounting, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency with Sage Intacct. You will work full-time on US Pacific hours and contribute to monthly reports and audits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience in US healthcare accounting.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle general bookkeeping tasks and keep records accurate and organized.
• Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies that pop up.
• Carry out internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Review and categorize expenses to align with budget and guidelines.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Process payroll chargebacks and other pertinent transactions.
• Post daily expenses and manage financial entries.
• Support additional accounting functions and tackle ad hoc projects as assigned.
