Nezda Technologies, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead daily core corporate accounting functions, oversee a finance team, and ensure accuracy across general accounting, payroll, AP, and AR.
Reporting to SVP of Corporate Accounting and Controller, you will drive US GAAP compliance, support audits, manage cash flow, and mentor staff while shaping budgets and strategic plans. This role is onsite in Clark with coordination across time zones.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the daily activities of our core corporate accounting functions. In this role, you will lead a dedicated finance team and manage operations across general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reporting directly to the SVP of Corporate Accounting and Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, driving compliance with US GAAP, and steering the growth and development of your assigned staff.
Financial Oversight & Closing: Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting cycles.
Ledger & Reconciliation: Supervise the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and review general ledger accounts.
Transaction Management: Analyze, review, verify, post, and correct accounting entries in journals, ledgers, and other records as needed.
Accounts Receivable: Assist with the entire accounts receivable process, maintaining an up-to-date billing system to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Compliance & Audits: Collaborate with team members to ensure recorded revenue complies with US GAAP, and assist internal/external auditors with periodic reviews.
Cash Flow & Tax: Reconcile and adjust bank accounts to manage cash flow while ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal government and tax requirements.
Leadership & Strategy: Administer departmental policies, evaluate performance, assist with the development of new budgets or strategic plans, and provide direct mentorship and growth opportunities for assigned finance staff.
Experience: At least ten to twelve (10-12) years of solid experience in healthcare finance, accounting, treasury, or a related field.
License: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) actively licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Outlook and Great Plains software (or an equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning / ERP software).
Work Setup & Flexibility: Ability to work onsite in our Clark office and flexibility to manage working across multiple time zones.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, healthcare finance, or a related field.
Leadership: Prior management or supervisory experience leading a team of subordinate supervisors and/or managers.
Deep understanding of accounting concepts, principles, and the ability to apply relevant laws and regulations.
Proven capability to perform complex tasks, make sound decisions, and exercise strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally with diverse personalities.
High attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
