Job summary

Ashok Leyland Limited in the Philippines seeks a proactive Proto Parts Development Coordinator to drive the end-to-end proto parts process. You will lead drawing studies, coordinate DFM sign-offs with stakeholders, and push for timely Proto PO releases with suppliers, ensuring alignment with program timelines.

The role requires close collaboration with SQ, SPM, and plant teams to update SAP views, manage PPAP/PSW processes, and track milestones.

Responsibilities

• Drawing study of Discrete Parts
• DFM sign off with relevant stake-holders.
• Creating Proto Part Price Approval request
• Update SAP views and HSN code
• Coordinate with SPM team for timely Proto POrelease
• Sharing Approved Proto Part PO and ProtoTooling PO to Suppliers
• Proto parts development within the Programtimelines.
• Coordinating with SQ teams for Proto Partsample inspection and approval.
• Proto Part In warding and ensuring GRN forProto Part and Proto Tooling.
• Asses the Lead time for Tool up and claimTooling GO ahead in advance for Long lead Parts.
• Progress reviews at frequent intervals
• Coordinating for Tooling approval with SQ andFitment sign off with Plant for Tooled up Parts
• Ensuring Part availability to Meet MPS Plan.
• Coordinate with SQ for PPAP and suppliers forPSW Approval.
• Encourage and support supplier to ImproveProcess and Quality levels year after year.
• Maintaining and updating of IndividualDiscrete Parts tracker of his/her scope for devt. Mile stones and Targets.
