Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an engineering professional to lead casting component development, drawing analysis, and process optimization. The role requires collaboration with design, PCM, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and First Time Right results.

Experience in foundry processes, VPPAP/APQP knowledge, and proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential. Willingness to visit supplier sites and coordinate cross-functional activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Production or Automobile Engineering is required.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in casting components development.
• Experience with VPPAP/APQP processes and submissions.
• Proficient with SAP, MS Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize casting components for foundry and machining needs.
• Study drawings and provide technical feedback to design team.
• Coordinate RFQ, TS0 sign-off with PCM and QS submissions within timelines.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Good Knowledge and experience of Casting components development (Foundry processes and Machining)
• Drawing study and providing technical feedback to design team
• Floating RFQ, TSO sign off with PCM and QS submission to SSU within timelines
• Ensuring First time right development with PERT chart tracking
• Exposure & Skills in VPPAP actvities and closures
• Scheduling of development parts and CDMM ownership parts.
• Project Coordination for a Team at MRV.
• Proto/RPT Route Component Development .
• Material availability at MRV for Testing and validations Requirments.
• Commercial Acumen , Capex & Material cost
