JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical/Business Support or Production/ Maintenance employees, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work).
Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.
Explains policies, practices and procedures of the work area to others within the organization. May work to justify and gain
cooperation of other parties on practices, policies and procedures.
Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the immediate or short-term operational results of the work area.
Communicates with parties within and outside of own department, which may include external customers or vendors.
May manage a team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders. Leads, directs and reviews the work of team members to accomplish operational plans and results.
Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with some logical analysis of the issue.
Responsible for making modifications in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.
Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience, Engineering/Other Technical Positions
At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions creation, or assembly manuals.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system.
Understanding of materials & tolerances of components and assemblies.
In Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Proficient in Project management and excellent presentation skills.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Knowledge of test systems, quality tools, and root cause analysis methodologies.
Knowledgeable on primary functions like New Product Introduction, Configuration, Process Improvement
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
