• Experience deploying and managing production apps.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (Alicloud).
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana).
• Familiarity with blue-green or canary deployment strategies.

Senior Software Engineer is expected to design, build, and ship high-quality software while owning the full lifecycle of changes – from development through production deployment. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software systems.

• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews.

• Deploy changes to production using CI/CD pipelines; monitor releases for issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, including on-call rotation participation.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system reliability.

• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.

About you

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong proficiency in one or more languages (preferably: PHP, NodeJS, Python, Java).

• Strong experience working with MySQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries, schema designs, and indexing strategies.

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in production environments.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.

• Experience with Cloud Platforms (preferably with Alicloud).

• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Solid grasp of monitoring/observability tools (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, etc).

• Strong debugging and incident-response skills.

• Familiarity with blue-green or canary deployment strategies.
