Job summary

Asian Sourcing Link Phils., Inc. seeks a skilled PHP developer to implement new functionality and modify existing features. You will join a team building web applications with a focus on clean code, proper typing, and modern PHP practices.

Responsibilities include developing integrations with other services, writing tests with PHPUnit, documenting architecture, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will work with front-end teams and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Understanding of strict typing, OOP patterns, and modern language features.
• Practical experience with PSR-15 middleware, PSR-7 HTTP messages and Dependency Injection.
• Awareness of web application security concerns.
• Debugging code using Xdebug.
• Mastery of dependency injection, decoupling techniques, and clean code principles.
• Proficiency in writing automated tests using PHPUnit and its native mocking framework.
• Raw SQL writing skills.
• Experience with templating system and separating view logic from PHP backend processes (preferably Smarty).
• Understanding of CSS, JS and HTML.
• Git – commit, merge, rebase, deal with conflicts.
• Docker – start and stop.
