Job summary

Concerted Management Corporation is seeking a Lead/Senior Developer in Manila to review, design, develop, and support large and complex office systems. The role involves mentoring other developers, planning and executing tasks, and leading small to mid-size projects as needed.

The candidate should have substantial PHP experience with Laravel or Code Igniter, strong MySQL skills, and a deep understanding of OOP, SOA, and design patterns. Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PHP development experience using Laravel or Code Igniter frameworks.
• Strong MySQL database skills including queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to mentor other developers and lead small to medium projects.
• Ability to design and review complex systems and work with non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiar with version control (GitHub, SVN, Tortoise).
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular.js, Vue.js, Node.js).

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, design, develop, unit test, benchmark, document, and support large and complex office systems.
• Plan and execute assigned tasks or projects with sound judgment.
• Mentor developers and lead small to medium projects when needed.
• Support and maintain production systems, analyze problems, and suggest optimizations.
• Perform systems development, design, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Work independently and consult with the Development Manager and other units as needed.
• Collaborate across teams and lead interactions inside and outside of the department.
• Do design work for complex projects and review implementations by peers.
• Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems.
• Act as a medium between technical and non-technical personnel.
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming and database design.

Job description

1. The role Lead/Sr Developer must be able o to review, reviews, analyze, design, developers, unit test, benchmark, documents and support large and complex office systems

2. It is expected that he/she is experience enough to make sound judgment to be able to plan and execute assigned task or project

3. He/she mush be able to assist and mentor other developers and may be asked o lead small to medium-sized projects when needed

4. Support and maintain productions systems, analyze and solve problems and suggest optimization initiatives

5. Perform systems development, design, benchmark, unit testing, debugging and documentation

6. Able to work independently and just consults with the Development Manager and other supporting units from time to time

7. Effectively collaborates across team and can lead interactions inside and outside of the department

8. Able to do design work for complex projects and may conduct reviews and design implementation done by peers

9. Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems

10. Provides work direction, mentors and guides other developers in the team

11. Has a good understanding of the business and its equivalent work flows

12. Can act as a medium between the technical and non-technical personnel

13. In dept understanding of object-oriented programming

14. Proven ability to implement software solutions from inception to completion

15. At least 3 Years experience development systems in PHP using Laravel or Code Igniter frameworks

16. At least 3 Years experience using MySQL Database and familiar with its key functionalities (e.g. Query, Stored Procedure/Functions, Trigger, Cursors)

17. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

18. In dept understanding of service oriented architecture

19. In dept understanding of database design and relation concept

20. Familiar with design patterns

21. Experience setting-up/configuring version control (e.g. GitHub, SVN, Tortoise)

22. Familiar with Javascript based development platform (e.g. Angular.js, Vue.js, Node.js)
