Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, POS, MMS); retail industry is a plus

Job Summary

The Senior Manager – Application Services leads both Application Support and Development teams, ensuring delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-quality systems that support business operations and strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a customer-focused mindset to align IT services with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Define and drive the enterprise application strategy and roadmap


• Lead and develop high-performing application support and development teams


• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability

Operations & Service Delivery

• Oversee application lifecycle management (design, development, deployment, support, retirement)


• Ensure achievement of SLAs for availability, performance, and support


• Establish and enforce development standards, security, and best practices


• Govern KPIs and ensure continuous service improvement

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to align IT initiatives


• Manage vendor relationships and drive cost optimization and innovation


• Ensure strong communication and partnership across the organization

Financial Management

• Manage budgets for projects, licenses, subscriptions, and initiatives


• Ensure cost-efficient resource allocation and program delivery within budget

Qualifications
