JOB SUMMARY

The Manager of Solutions and Development is responsible to lead the IT solutions and software development teams. In this role, the Manager will be responsible for driving innovative technology solutions, overseeing the development and implementation of complex software systems, and managing a team of developers and IT professionals. He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable IT solutions that meet business requirements and contribute to the organization's strategic goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, engineers, and IT specialists. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to encourage high performance.

• Assembles the individual project teams and oversees the implementation of the project plans. This includes ensuring that the appropriate project management disciplines are adhered to (e.g., quality assurance, communications plan, change management plan, risk management, issue management, etc.).

• Oversee the planning, development, and execution of IT solutions and software development projects.

• Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and design customized IT solutions that meet those needs.

• Develop architectural frameworks, manage system integration, and ensure the scalability and security of solutions.

• Manages the software development group. Provide guidance on technical aspects of system development and integration (including requests for changes , deviations from specifications, etc) and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are adhered to by the group.

• Ensure that the development team work within the standard change and release management processes, and maintain accurate records of all actions taken in line with the standard configuration management process.

• Ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented, balancing functionality, security, and financial constraints. Manage the department’s budget, resources, and vendor relationships.

• Develop and maintain the technology roadmap in alignment with organizational goals. Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to improve business processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.

• Proficient in programming languages such as PHP, Java, C##, Python. Familiarity with database management and technologies ex. SQL. Expertise on web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and/or Android Development.

• Strong understanding of the various stages of the software development lifecycle and proficiency/knowledgeable in Agile Methodologies.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms.

• Familiarity with system architecture, database design, and integration strategies.

• Strong team leadership and people management skills.

• Willing to be assigned in Tabaco City, Albay.
