RGL BIO ALLIANCE CORPORATION is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and maintain IVD analyzers at client laboratories, ensuring high uptime and fast response to issues.
You will train client staff, document service activities, and collaborate with operations and product teams to optimize parts availability and service quality.
As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our client relationships - installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IVD analyzers on-site, while also mentoring junior engineers and helping raise the technical standards of the team. This role suits a hands-on, client-facing engineer who takes ownership of equipment uptime and enjoys solving complex technical problems in the field.
Install, calibrate, and commission IVD analyzers (chemistry, hematology, immunoassay, and related platforms) at client laboratories.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and respond to corrective/emergency service calls within agreed turnaround times.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electronic, and software issues on diagnostic equipment.
Train and guide client-side laboratory staff on proper equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate service records, calibration logs, and parts/inventory documentation.
Coordinate with the Technical Operations team, product specialists, and Supply Chain on parts availability and escalations.
Mentor and support the technical development of junior Field Service Engineers.
Ensure all service activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Provide timely feedback to clients and management on recurring equipment issues or improvement opportunities.
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Electronics/Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience servicing IVD or medical/laboratory diagnostic equipment.
Solid troubleshooting skills across electronics, mechanical systems, and diagnostic software.
Willing to travel regularly to client sites within the assigned service area.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Strong client-facing communication skills and a professional, service-oriented attitude.
Able to work under pressure and manage urgent service calls with sound judgment.
Demonstrated ability - or clear potential - to mentor and guide junior technical staff.
