Job summary

TRANSMEDIC PHILIPPINES, INC. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service biomedical equipment on-site across client sites in the Philippines. You will perform installation, commissioning, upgrades, preventive maintenance and remote support as needed, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years in medical device support, good communication, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with sales and service teams, document activities and adhere to safety and hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or relevant qualification.
• 1–3 years’ experience in medical equipment or technical support.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Possess excellent analytical skills, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Repair, installation, commissioning, upgrades and preventive maintenance for customers.
• Provide technical support for sales during seminars, demos, exhibitions and workshops.
• Diagnose faults and carry out onsite repairs and remote support using manufacturer methodologies and service manuals.
• Calibrate and verify equipment performance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate service records.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and basic preventive maintenance training to Biomedical Engineers.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for technical support, spare parts orders and warranty claims.
• Coordinate with internal teams for efficient service scheduling and execution.
• Update knowledge of equipment upgrades and manufacturer advisories.
• Ensure professional customer engagement and high-quality service delivery.
• Provide on-call duties, emergency response, and after hours support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies.
• Travel locally and work outstation as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform repair, installation, commissioning, upgrades and after sales preventive maintenance to the customer.
• Provide technical support for sales team during seminars, demo, exhibition and workshops.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and carry out onsite repairs and remote support using manufacturer training methodologies and service manuals.

• Update knowledge of equipment upgrades, technical advisories released by manufacturer.
• Ensure professional customer engagement and high-quality service delivery.
• Provide on-call duties, emergency response, and after office hours support.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and hospital policies.
• Travel locally and work outstation as required.
• Perform other duties that maybe assigned by the management.
