Job summary

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer credential required.
• Knowledge of maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, genset, elevator, and telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of services to operate and maintain company properties.
• Manage facility operations including electrical, engineering, plumbing, air-conditioning, safety and security, and admin tasks.
• Ensure facilities meet government regulations on regulatory, environmental, health and security standards.
• Plan and oversee building work and renovations.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities.
• Initiate quality improvement programs for facilities.
• Prepare predictive and preventive maintenance schedules with financial analysis.
• Prepare monthly reports for office infrastructure and facilities.

Job description

The Building Engineer shall perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the strategic and operational management of all the company's buildings and facilities in order to ensure the proper and efficient operation of all its physical aspects and for the creation and sustenance of a safe and productive work environment.

The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Ensure the delivery of services to operate and maintain company properties including any designated financial, technical, maintenance and procurement tasks.
• Manage facility operations : electrical, engineering, plumbing, air-conditioning, safety and security, equipment, housekeeping, administration and finance.
• Ensure that all facilities meet proper government regulations on business, environmental, health and security standards.
• Planning and overseeing building work and renovation.
• Manage cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities and premises.
• Initiate quality improvement programs to improve facilities.
• Establish efficient problem reporting, escalations and complaint management
• Prepare an annual and monthly Predictive and Preventive schedule for all facilities including financial details and analysis.
• Plan and prepare monthly reportsrequired for maintaining office infrastructure and facilities.
• Assist the department in project management and cost optimization
• Negotiate contractor and service quotationsEnsure proper records are maintained of all projects
• Provides support for DENR compliance of the company and its affiliates

To be considered for this position, candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical Engineeror Electrical Engineer
• Highly knowledgeable in construction, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning,genset, elevatorand telephone system maintenance and installation.
