Job summary

Focus Global Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to manage the company’s facilities in Metro Manila, ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.

The role includes overseeing maintenance, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization to sustain a productive work environment. The candidate should be a graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering and must hold a valid professional license as an Engineer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer or Licensed Electrical Engineer.
• Highly knowledgeable in construction, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, genset, elevator and telephone system maintenance and installation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of services to operate and maintain company properties including financial, technical, maintenance and procurement tasks.
• Manage facility operations: electrical, engineering, plumbing, air-conditioning, safety and security, equipment, housekeeping, administration and finance.
• Ensure facilities meet government regulations on business, environmental, health and security standards.
• Plan and oversee building work and renovation.
• Manage cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities and premises.
• Initiate quality improvement programs to improve facilities.
• Establish efficient problem reporting, escalations and complaint management.
• Prepare annual and monthly Predictive and Preventive schedules with financial details and analysis.
• Plan and prepare monthly reports for office infrastructure and facilities.
• Assist department in project management and cost optimization.
• Negotiate contractor and service quotations.
• Maintain records of all projects.
• Provide support for DENR compliance.

Job description

The Building Engineer shall perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the strategic and operational management of all the company’s buildings and facilities in order to ensure the proper and efficient operation of all its physical aspects and for the creation and sustenance of a safe and productive work environment.

The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Ensure the delivery of services to operate and maintain company properties including any designated financial, technical, maintenance and procurement tasks.
• Manage facility operations : electrical, engineering, plumbing, air-conditioning, safety and security, equipment, housekeeping, administration and finance.
• Ensure that all facilities meet proper government regulations on business, environmental, health and security standards.
• Planning and overseeing building work and renovation.
• Manage cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities and premises.

To be considered for this position, candidate must meet the following qualifications:
