Job summary

I Count Beans is an established accounting firm with a growing offshore team. We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to provide dedicated bookkeeping support for a single client, leveraging Australian accounting practices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with an Australian firm and be proficient in Xero, Dext and Simpro, as well as MS Office. This role offers long-term career opportunities in a remote setup serving clients across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as a bookkeeper with an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with Xero, Dext, and Simpro is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Prepare BAS and IAS.
• Handle payroll processing, including STP, PAYG, and superannuation reconciliation.
• Perform month-end functions, reporting, and resolve account discrepancies.

We are expanding our offshore team and looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper who is passionate about accounting, detail-oriented, and seeking a long-term career opportunity.

We provide multi-disciplinary accounting services to a wide range of clients across various industries. For this role, the successful candidate will be assigned to work exclusively with one client, providing dedicated bookkeeping and accounting support.

At least 3 years of proven experience as a bookkeeper with an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Installment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Handle payroll processing, including STP, PAYG, and superannuation reconciliation.
• Perform month-end functions, reporting, and resolving account discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Dext, Xero, and Simpro (preferred).
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
