Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim Business Services Philippines, Inc. seeks a dedicated Testing Support Specialist to join our team.

You will contribute to testing activities, develop test plans, execute tests, manage defects, and document results in collaboration with Validation Managers and Subject Matter Experts. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of hands-on software testing experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and working knowledge of SAP, ALM, and JIRA.

Qualifications

• You should have at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with SAP Applications is required.
• Knowledge of GxP and compliance/risk management is preferred.
• Familiarity with the shared service environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

The Position

Are you looking for an opportunity to enhance your knowledge in Software Testing and Validation? Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Testing Support Specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the delivery of testing activities in collaboration with the Senior Specialist Testing Support, Subject Matter Experts, and Validation Managers.
• You will perform test plan authoring, test execution, defect management, pre-execution, and post execution activities.
• You will create, monitor, and maintain test plans, test runs, test discrepancies and documentations.
• You will support the Head of Testing Support and Senior Specialist Testing Support with the team’s operational strategy, continuity plan, and team engagement.

About Our Future Employee

You should have at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and approaches. Should possess deep understanding of the testing process as well as familiarity with the shared service landscape.

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Experience working with SAP Applications is required.
• Knowledge in GxP (Good Practice) as well as good understanding of compliance and risk management.
• Familiarity with the shared service environment is an advantage.
• Can communicate effectively (written, oral, presentation).
• Project management and technical/process expertise in software testing/computer system validation.
• Familiarity with ALM, JIRA and SAP is an advantage.
• Sense of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
