• 7+ years in enterprise IT with focus on storage, VMware, and backup solutions.
• Strong ownership and accountability for tasks and projects.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter; Veeam backup technology.
• Hands-on SAN/storage experience and scripting/automation abilities.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Specialist to manage and optimize enterprise-level storage systems, VMware virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and server installations. This role is critical for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure across a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high level of resilience, takes full ownership of tasks, and leverages automation to improve efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise storage solutions
• Manage VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines
• Plan and execute server installations, configurations and upgrades
• Administer and optimize Veeam Backup and Replication environments to ensure data integrity and availability
• Implement automation for routine tasks, deployments, and system monitoring to increase efficiency
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability
• Maintain disaster recovery strategies and documentation
• Collaborate with Network, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning for storage and virtualization environments
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and industry best practices
• Take ownership of assigned projects and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical incidents

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments focusing on storage, VMware administration, and backup solutions
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and projects
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
• Expertise in backup technologies (Veeam)
• Hands-on experience with SAN and storage systems (e.g., HPE Alletra)
• Experience with automation tools and PowerShell scripting
• Windows and Linux server installation and administration experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
