Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field is required.
• 7+ years in enterprise IT with focus on storage, VMware, and backup solutions.
• Strong ownership and accountability for tasks and projects.
• Experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter; Veeam backup technology.
• Hands-on SAN/storage experience and scripting/automation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize enterprise storage solutions and VMware environments.
• Plan and execute server installations, configurations and upgrades.
• Administer and optimize Veeam Backup and Replication for data integrity.
• Implement automation for routine tasks and system monitoring.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Maintain disaster recovery strategies and documentation.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, and App teams for integration.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and participate in on-call rotation.
