Job summary

Nidec Motor Philippines Corporation is seeking a Spanish-speaking IT ServiceDesk Specialist I to join our IT Services team. You will be the first point of contact for end-users across phone and email, troubleshooting in English and Spanish, managing tickets, and ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

You will support Windows/Office 365/AD, use ServiceNow and Ivanti, and collaborate with international teams. A hybrid work setup is offered with opportunities for travel within the NMPC network.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication, phone etiquette, and customer service skills
• Fundamental knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10), basic networking, and Office 365
• Ability to learn quickly and explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Willingness to work flexible schedules or occasional weekend/night shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone or email.
• Deliver high-quality IT support and customer service in both Spanish and English.
• Log, update, and manage support tickets using ticketing systems (ServiceNow / Ivanti).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and operating system issues for end-users.
• Perform basic administration for Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
• Assist in resolving user concerns and elevate high-level or complex issues to leads/supervisors as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, diagnostic steps, and resolutions.
• Support internal team members with Spanish language assistance when necessary.
• Participate in daily monitoring tasks and operational shifts (including occasional weekends/holidays if needed).
