Job summary

The SOX Lead Auditor at Fresh Del Monte, Inc. will execute testing procedures to support the company’s SOX 404 compliance program, focusing on testing of business process controls, IT application controls, and IT General Controls.

You will document results, identify deficiencies, and communicate findings clearly to management to ensure alignment on remediation actions. Strong analytical skills and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in SOX 404, internal or external audit or risk advisory.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404, ICFR concepts, US GAAP, internal controls, and external audit reliance models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Professional certifications preferred (CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA or equivalent).
• Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, ACL) preferred.
• Experience with audit management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute SOX control testing for ICFR and ITGC.
• Document testing workpapers with evidence and conclusions.
• Identify deficiencies and communicate findings to management.
• Support external auditors with workpapers and subject matter responses.
• Ensure testing adheres to SOX methodology, PCAOB standards, and documentation expectations.
• Coordinate with process owners and stakeholders to align on deficiencies.
