Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5–7 years of professional culinary experience, with 2–3 years in sous chef or senior kitchen leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines across upscale concepts.
• Proven ability to lead high-volume kitchen teams.
• In-depth understanding of food safety and health regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate across departments.
• Knowledge of food costing, budgeting, and inventory control.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Formal culinary qualification preferred.
• Experience in upscale dining is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation to meet quality and presentation standards.
• Assist Executive Chef with menu planning and recipe development.
• Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback.
• Monitor food costs, portion control, and inventory to optimize profitability.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate mise en place and maintain an organized kitchen.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Cover Executive Chef duties when required.
• Contribute to staff training and mentoring of junior staff.
