Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Specialist (Phone Screener) in the Philippines to source candidates through job portals, social media and referrals, and conduct initial phone screenings.

You will build a strong candidate pipeline, assess qualifications and coordinate with recruiters to move top talent through to next steps, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, business administration, or related field.
• 6–12 months of experience in recruitment, sourcing, phone screening, or BPO/volume hiring.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills may be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Proficient with MS Office/Google Workspace and ATS familiarity.

• Endorse qualified candidates to recruiters or hiring managers for further assessment.
• Maintain and update candidate records, sourcing trackers, and recruitment databases.
• Follow up with candidates regarding interview schedules, requirements, and status.
• Build and maintain an active talent pool for current and future needs.
• Meet sourcing and screening targets within agreed timelines.
• Ensure proper documentation and accurate tagging of candidate statuses.
• Coordinate with recruiters to prioritize urgent and high-volume hiring.

The Sourcing Specialist (Phone Screener) is responsible for sourcing and pre-screening potential candidates through phone calls and other recruitment channels. The role focuses on identifying qualified candidates, conducting initial assessments, and ensuring a strong pipeline of candidates for various job openings.

Key Responsibilities

• Endorse qualified candidates to the Recruitment team or hiring managers for further assessment.
• Maintain and update candidate records, sourcing trackers, and recruitment databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• With at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in recruitment, sourcing, phone screening, or BPO/volume hiring is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and interpersonal skills may also be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable conducting frequent phone calls and speaking with candidates.
• Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace and familiar with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems.
• Willing to work on a contingent/project-based arrangement.
• Amenable to working on-site, hybrid, or remotely depending on business requirements.
