Job summary

Tech One Global is hiring a Solution Architect for Data & AI in the Philippines. You will translate business and technical requirements into delivery-ready designs, anchored in Microsoft Data & AI technologies, while remaining platform-agnostic to fit diverse customer estates.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML solution roles.
• 2+ years in client-facing pre-sales or consulting.
• Modern data platform / lakehouse delivery on the Microsoft stack with exposure to at least one non‑Microsoft platform.
• Strong grounding in data modeling, governance, and GenAI / RAG patterns.
• Excellent written documentation and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and produce data & AI solution designs aligned with reference architectures.
• Develop solution diagrams, documentation, and technical inputs for consulting engagements.
• Ensure components comply with global standards, governance, security, and architecture best practices.
• Support discovery sessions, solution walkthroughs, and proposal development.
• Provide technical inputs to solution scope, assumptions, and estimates.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to validate feasibility and implementation readiness.
• Own consulting-to-delivery handover documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Build and maintain expertise across assigned solution areas and stay current in the Microsoft stack and broader AI ecosystem.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Solution Architect for Data & AI translates business and technical requirements into well‑defined, delivery‑ready solution designs that align with the company's global SI delivery model. The role works closely with Principal Solution Architects and Consulting Leads to ensure that solutions are technically feasible, commercially aligned, and delivery‑ready; supporting both specialized pods and cross‑solution initiatives.

Architectures are anchored in Microsoft's Data & AI ecosystem; Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Synapse, Azure AI Foundry / Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Purview; while remaining deliberately platform‑agnostic. The architect reasons from data and AI engineering first principles rather than from a single product and is expected to design credibly across heterogeneous customer estates, recommending the right platform for the customer rather than defaulting to one.

TECHNICAL SCOPE

• Platform-Agnostic Fluency: Demonstrable working knowledge of at least one non‑Microsoft platform — e.g. Snowflake, Databricks (multi‑cloud), Google BigQuery, or AWS data services — together with open table and file formats (Delta, Apache Iceberg, Parquet), orchestration tooling, dbt, Apache Spark, vector stores, and contemporary RAG / LLMOps patterns.
• Architecture Craft: Medallion / lakehouse architecture, dimensional and data‑product modeling, data governance and lineage, security and access design, and disciplined cost / performance trade‑off analysis backed by clear reference documentation.
• Consulting Translation: Discovery facilitation, solution storytelling, scoping and estimation, and fluent translation between business intent and technical design for both technical and executive stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Solution Design & Analysis

• Analyze customer requirements and produce data & AI solution designs aligned with approved reference architectures, selecting the right platform for the customer's estate rather than defaulting to a single product.
• Develop solution diagrams, documentation, and technical inputs required for consulting engagements.
• Ensure solution components comply with global standards, governance, security, and architecture best practices.
• Support discovery sessions, solution walkthroughs, and proposal development.
• Provide technical inputs to solution scope, assumptions, and estimates.

Delivery Alignment & Collaboration

• Collaborate with delivery teams to validate feasibility and implementation readiness.
• Own consulting‑to‑delivery handover documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Address feedback and changes identified during solution reviews.
• Build and maintain expertise across assigned solution areas and specialized pods, staying current in both the Microsoft stack and the broader data & AI ecosystem.
• Follow consulting methodologies, templates, and governance processes.
• Contribute to documentation, reusable assets, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 5–8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML solution roles, with at least 2 years in a client‑facing pre‑sales or consulting capacity.
• Demonstrated modern data platform / lakehouse delivery on the Microsoft stack and hands‑on exposure to at least one non‑Microsoft platform.
• Strong grounding in data modeling, governance, and emerging GenAI / RAG patterns.
• Excellent written documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
