Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Solution Architect – Data & AI for Microsoft Azure to design and implement scalable data analytics and AI solutions on Azure. The role requires deep Azure data services knowledge, hands-on experience with multiple Azure offerings, and a track record of delivering robust platforms.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect or similar role, focusing on data analytics and Azure cloud technologies.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure services including AI Foundry, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, ML, Purview, Fabric, Cognitive Services, OpenAI, and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and governance.

Job Requirements

• Demonstrable experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a focus on data analytics and Azure cloud technologies.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Azure services such as AI Foundry, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Microsoft Purview, Fabric , Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like Python, SQL, and experience with data manipulation and transformation.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to design and implement creative solutions for complex data challenges.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and version control systems.
• Demonstrable ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in IT or related subject area.
• Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate is required.
