Job summary

We Connect HR Solutions OPC is looking for a Sales Engineer to bridge engineering expertise with customer needs in the renewable energy sector. You will develop technical solutions, present them to clients, and help close deals that advance solar initiatives.

You will conduct site assessments, prepare tailored proposals, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timelines and standards are met. Travel to client sites is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven sales experience in solar/renewable energy or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and electrical design.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software or system design tools.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building.
• Self-motivated with good organizational and time management.
• Willingness to travel for meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients in solar and renewable energy sector.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate renewable energy solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotes tailored to client specifications and project requirements.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales process, addressing customer queries and clarifying complex engineering concepts.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions meet technical standards and project timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategy.
• Prepare technical documentation, case studies, and sales materials to support the marketing and sales functions.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote products and services.
• Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on key performance metrics to management.
