Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions in Pasig, Philippines is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily safe and efficient operations of our solar power plant. You will lead maintenance activities and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities include planning corrective and preventive maintenance, conducting troubleshooting, preparing procurement-ready drawings, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

Registered Engineer license or equivalent credential.
2–3 years in plant operations and maintenance, preferably in utility-scale renewables.
Familiarity with Job Hazard Analysis, HRAC, LOTO, and work permitting is a plus.
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Able to work in a team, under pressure and with tight schedules.

Responsibilities

Prepare maintenance work plans (daily/weekly/monthly/annual) and monitor execution.
Carry out technical assessments and troubleshooting as required.
Prepare drawings and technical docs for procurement of materials and services.
Conduct toolbox meetings including JHA, HRAC, LOTO documentation.
Develop energy-efficiency studies and plans for the plant.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance on inverters, transformers, switchgear.
Supervise electricians in repair and replacement tasks.
Analyze equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and RA 7920.
Produce maintenance reports and inventory records.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
