Job summary

Upgrade Energy Philippines seeks a Bids & Compliance Officer to drive end-to-end bid proposals and regulatory filings for DG and embedded solar projects in the Philippines. The role ensures all commercial, technical, and regulatory submissions meet grid codes and local requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in bid management or regulatory compliance, with an engineering or related degree and strong MS Office skills. Growth and collaboration are emphasized in a dynamic energy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil), Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in bid management, tender preparation, or regulatory compliance within the Philippine power/renewable energy sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and modern document management tools.

Responsibilities

• Technical Proposals & Business Development Support: Prepare, review, and refine end-to-end technical offers, commercial proposals, and project presentation packages for prospective clients and partner organizations.
• Regulatory Compliance & Document Custodianship: Ensure compliance with energy regulations, distribution utility standards, and industry grid codes; maintain corporate and technical records.
• Post-Award & Grid Compliance: Coordinate with engineering to initiate Distribution Impact Studies for awarded projects and manage post-award regulatory filings.
• Operational Control & Administrative Management: Monitor milestones, follow up with stakeholders, and support leadership with documentation and workflow management.
