Job summary

Rippedboxstation is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead cross‑functional software projects from initiation through delivery. You will organize requirements, coordinate engineers, designers, and stakeholders, and ensure timely progress against scope, schedule, and budget.

The role emphasizes Jira-driven workflow, structured reporting, and proactive risk management, with an EST-compatible schedule and collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Product Manager, Project Coordinator, or Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track projects from initiation through completion, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables remain on schedule.
• Monitor and maintain Jira tickets, ensuring accurate updates, prioritization, assignment, and timely follow-ups with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams, developers, designers, and business stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and executed.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to remove blockers, track progress, and ensure accountability across all project activities.
• Organize project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status updates.
• Facilitate project meetings, stand-ups, and planning sessions, ensuring clear communication among team members.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and timelines, escalating issues when necessary.
• Prepare and provide regular reports on project status, priorities, milestones, and key metrics.
• Support product initiatives by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and coordinating implementation activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and project management practices.

Software Project Manager

Number of hours: 40 hours per week (9:00AM - 5:00PM EST)

Schedule: Eastern Time zone

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track projects from initiation through completion, ensuring tasks, timelines, and deliverables remain on schedule.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills, ensuring tasks and deliverables are completed on time.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience working with remote teams and collaborating across multiple departments.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Slack, or similar platforms.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in software, technology, SaaS, e‑commerce, or digital product environments is a strong advantage.
