Job summary

Whitecloak is seeking a Core Java/Backend Developer to enhance backend systems supporting multiple client platforms including web, Android, and iOS. The role focuses on translating user stories into reliable backend functionality and building maintainable services that integrate via REST APIs.

You'll work on performance, quality, and automation to ensure smooth end-to-end application behavior across systems, with emphasis on scalable microservices and CI/CD best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/college degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum process, language, and ceremonies.
• 3+ years of experience using Java and Spring/SpringBoot.
• 3+ years of experience using relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.
• Solid understanding of API, microservice, and integration concepts and technologies (e.g., REST, JSON, XML, message queues).
• Excellent analytical, technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated history of continuously improving knowledge, skills, and processes for the organization.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and respond in a timely manner.
