E-team Workforce Private Corporation is seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer for a night-shift, initial 6-month contract in the Philippines. You will design and deploy backend microservices in cloud-native and hybrid-cloud environments, building robust REST and SOAP APIs, and ensuring secure data handling.
You will work with OpenShift/Kubernetes, relational and NoSQL databases, and implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, while enforcing strong security
Note: This role is NIGHTSHIFT, and initial 6-month contract with possible absorption depending on performance.A Java Spring Boot Developer designs, develops, and deploys high-performance, scalable, and secure backend microservices within cloud-native and hybrid-cloud environments.
Design & Build Microservices: Architect and maintain decentralized, scalable cloud applications using Java 17+ and the Spring Boot framework.
Develop RESTful APIs: Build and optimize high-throughput, secure REST APIs and SOAP web services to integrate with diverse cloud platforms.
Implement Cloud & Containerization: Deploy applications onto container orchestration platforms like Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Database Management & Security: Design secure relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Cassandra), optimizing SQL queries and caching.
CI/CD & DevOps Automation: Collaborate with DevOps teams using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to build robust deployment pipelines.
Apply Security Standards: Embed encryption, JWT authentication, OAuth2, and role-based access control (RBAC) across data pipelines.
Language Proficiency: Strong foundation in Core Java (Java 8 to Java 17+), including multithreading, concurrency, and OOP patterns.
Spring Ecosystem: Comprehensive knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data JPA.
Middleware & Streaming: Practical experience with event-driven data streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka.
Testing Tooling: High commitment to code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Mockito, and SonarQube.
Enterprise Architecture: Exposure to hybrid-cloud architecture, enterprise systems integration, and legacy platform transformation.
