Job summary

Questronix Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a backend software engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise services using Java and Spring Boot. You will develop RESTful APIs and microservices, integrate with databases and external systems, and ensure secure coding practices throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities include testing, debugging, deployment support, and participating in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and best practices.
• Knowledge of application security, authentication/authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with messaging platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or API gateways is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
