Job summary

HRTX is seeking a skilled Software Developer in Mandaluyong for hybrid work (3x per week on-site). You will design and maintain enterprise learning management applications and admin tools, building low-code Oracle APEX modules and Java/Spring Boot microservices.

You will also write PL/SQL, expose REST endpoints with ORDS, and support UI components in React for internal web apps. Collaboration in Agile teams and CI/CD with Azure DevOps will be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with Oracle APEX, Java, and PL/SQL.
• Experience delivering RESTful APIs and secure authentication (OAuth2/JWT).
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oracle APEX delivery: build and maintain interactive applications, forms, reports, and security schemas.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to design and maintain enterprise learning management applications and administrative tools. In this role, you will build low-code Oracle APEX modules, construct Java/Spring Boot microservices, write PL/SQL backend procedures, and manage database integrations.

Core Responsibilities

• Oracle APEX Delivery: Build, customize, and maintain interactive Oracle APEX applications, forms, reports, and security schemas.
• Java Microservices: Develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, managing JPA/Hibernate data pipelines and third-party integrations.
• PL/SQL & Database Logic: Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and queries within Oracle Database environments.
• Data Services & ORDS: Expose database endpoints using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) and integrate REST APIs (OAuth2/JWT).
• UI & LMS Support: Support e-learning platform integrations and build modular React components for internal web applications.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Resolve multi-tier issues across APEX, Spring Boot, and PL/SQL layers.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and Azure DevOps CI/CD deployment automation.

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on background in Oracle APEX, Java, and PL/SQL
• Proven proficiency in Oracle APEX core features (Interactive Reports, Forms, Universal Theme, ORDS)
• Solid background in Java and Spring Boot (REST API design, JPA/Hibernate)
• Deep PL/SQL expertise (packages, procedures, performance tuning)
• Experience with RESTful API architecture and security authentication standards
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile workflows
• Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Learning Management Systems (LMS) or e-learning protocols (SCORM, xAPI)
• Experience with Oracle APEX 22.x+ and custom web themes
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS module integrations
• Working knowledge of React.js or modern JavaScript frameworks
