Job summary

Emerson Electric (Asia) Limited - ROHQ is seeking an Application Developer in Mandaluyong, Philippines. You will build and maintain Oracle APEX apps, develop REST APIs with Spring Boot, and craft React components for our learning platform.

You will also write PL/SQL for data management and reports, follow SDLC best practices, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of software development with Oracle APEX, Java, and Oracle Database.
• Experience designing Oracle APEX apps: reports, forms, REST-enabled objects, auth, page logic.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, service-layer development, JPA/Hibernate, Oracle DB integration.
• Strong React skills for learning platform front-ends.
• Hands-on PL/SQL: packages, procedures, functions, queries for data mgmt and reporting.
• Experience consuming/producing REST APIs with OAuth2/JWT; third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI LMS APIs and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Strong English communication; collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Oracle APEX apps for Online Training Administration, SPOT, NITRM, Event Reports, and E-Learning APIs.
• Develop Spring Boot REST APIs to integrate learning management platforms and entitlement systems.
• Create React front-end components with responsive, accessible UI for admins and learners.
• Write and optimize PL/SQL for training data management and reporting across Oracle DB.
• Apply SDLC practices to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners and QA; participate in code reviews and CI/CD processes.
