Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Application Developer to build and maintain enterprise-grade learning applications in Mandaluyong, Philippines. You will work at the intersection of Oracle APEX, Spring Boot, and React to deliver solutions for thousands of learners and administrators globally.

The role emphasizes SDLC discipline, API integration, and code quality across APEX, Java, and React stacks, with collaboration across product owners, QA, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software development across APEX, Java, and Oracle DB.
• Experience designing and building Oracle APEX apps with REST-enabled objects.
• Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot REST APIs and React front-ends.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Oracle APEX applications for learning platforms.
• Develop Spring Boot REST APIs integrating LMS and entitlement systems.
• Create React front-end components for learning platform features.
• Write PL/SQL packages, procedures, and queries for data management.
• Apply SDLC to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Oracle APEX, Java, and React layers.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, QA, and stakeholders.
• Create technical docs, API specs, and runbooks.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
• Identify risks and ensure timely delivery.
