About the Role

ArenaPlus is looking for a Social Media Specialist / Supervisor who understands sports, internet culture, and fast-moving online conversations. This role will support the planning, creation, and execution of social media content for ArenaPlus, with a focus on sports, entertainment, community engagement, and timely trend-driven content.

We are looking for someone young-minded, creative, organized, and highly responsible. The ideal candidate has strong social media sense, knows what people want to watch and share, and can turn sports moments into engaging content quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily social media content across ArenaPlus official channels.
• Monitor sports events, trending topics, viral moments, memes, and online conversations to identify timely content opportunities.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging short-form content, including images, videos, captions, reels, and social posts.
• Support sports-related content planning, including match previews, live game moments, results, highlights, fan reactions, betting-related storylines, and community engagement formats.
• Develop recurring content series, viral hooks, and interactive formats that can drive reach, engagement, and brand relevance.
• Work closely with internal teams, creators, designers, video editors, and external partners to execute content quickly and accurately.
• Track content performance and provide practical insights on what works, what does not, and what should be improved.
• Support KOL / creator collaboration, content seeding, and community-driven campaigns.
• Ensure all content is aligned with ArenaPlus brand direction, responsible gaming standards, and internal approval processes.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform changes, creator formats, sports culture, and AI-powered content tools.

Requirements

• Strong understanding and genuine passion for sports.
• Strong sense of social media trends, internet culture, viral content, memes, and short-form video formats.
• Must be able to do basic image editing and video editing.
• Experience managing social media pages, content calendars, campaigns, or creator accounts.
• Good writing sense for captions, hooks, and social-first copy.
• Organized, fast-moving, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple content tasks at the same time.
• Responsible, proactive, resourceful, and able to make quick judgment calls when handling trending content.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with daily sports and social media cycles.
• Basic understanding of performance metrics such as reach, engagement, views, shares, and content conversion.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Has personal experience as a KOL, creator, content page owner, or social media operator.
• Has an active personal social media page, sports page, meme page, creator account, or content portfolio.
• Has existing network in the sports industry, creator community, or KOL network.
• Experience in sports media, gaming, entertainment, betting, livestream, or community content is a plus.
• Familiar with AI tools or AI agents for trend discovery, content ideation, caption generation, research, and workflow efficiency.
• Able to identify trending opportunities quickly and translate them into brand-safe content ideas.
• Has to be comfortable appearing on camera or helping produce content.
