Role Overview
We’re looking for a Community and Content Manager to help strengthen our online presence, connect with our audience, and turn our everyday work into engaging marketing content. This role combines social media management, content creation, online reputation management, and general marketing support.
The position will begin part-time at approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role by spring. We’re looking for someone who can take initiative, recognize good content opportunities, and consistently turn ideas, photos, and videos into meaningful engagement and new business opportunities.
What You’ll Own
- Social Media Management: Manage regular posting and engagement across the company’s social media channels. Keep content consistent, respond to comments and messages, and help maintain an active and professional online presence.
- Content Creation: Turn job-site photos and videos into engaging content, including before-and-after transformations, project highlights, and educational videos that explain the work behind our services and help customers understand what they’re paying for.
- Online Reviews and Reputation: Proactively request reviews from customers, monitor incoming feedback, respond professionally to reviews, and help strengthen the company’s online reputation and visibility.
- Community Engagement and Online Presence: Build relationships with our online audience, participate in relevant conversations, identify opportunities to increase visibility, and help ensure the company is represented positively across digital platforms.
- Marketing and Lead Generation Support: Assist with broader marketing activities, organize content calendars, identify opportunities for new campaigns, and help maintain a steady flow of leads through consistent marketing efforts.
What Makes This Role a Fit
- Do you enjoy bringing structure to creative projects and making sure content, schedules, and follow-ups stay on track?
- Do you genuinely enjoy interacting with people, responding to questions, and making customers feel appreciated and heard?
- When you see a great project photo, customer comment, or opportunity for a post, do you naturally start thinking about how to turn it into something engaging?
- Are you someone who looks for ways to improve a company's online presence rather than simply waiting for instructions about what to post next?
- Would you enjoy taking everyday business activities and turning them into stories that help people understand, trust, and connect with a company?
