Manulife is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and support production systems. You will work across squads to resolve issues, ensure alignment with enterprise standards, and contribute to SmartComm-driven document generation and integrations.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, data modeling, and collaboration with agile teams to deliver scalable solutions in a hybrid work setup with several onsite days weekly.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.
• Experience translating user requirements into software specifications.
• Ability to develop moderately complex code per standards.
• Minimum of two years with Data Model or SmartComm Data Modeler.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end SmartComm-based customer communications.
• Develop and optimize SmartComm configurations for templates and efficiency.
• Configure SmartComm components to enhance document generation and rules.
• Build and improve SmartComm data models for reusable structures across products.
• Create and manage templates, clauses, and layouts with SmartComm Draft Editor.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, designers, and developers to translate requirements.
