Job summary

Manulife in the Philippines seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer within the Digital Transformation Services team of the Shared Services group, supporting John Hancock division users. You will research, resolve, escalate issues, and communicate proactively to prevent future problems.

You will own applications, document processes, conduct interviews, develop new capabilities, and manage ticket lifecycles while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience with .NET/C#/SQL and front-end JS (Angular).
• Ability to translate complex tech issues into business-friendly solutions.
• Experience with open-source tools and new technologies welcome.

Responsibilities

• Be the overall point of contact on assigned applications for users and teams.
• Create and maintain system documentation for applications and processes.
• Interview business and technical experts to identify issues.
• Develop applications to support new processes or enhancements.
• Assist in resolving routine production problems.
• Gather information for problem identification and resolution.
• Manage the ticket lifecycle and update users on progress.
• Provide post-implementation support for deliverables.
• Develop test plans, coordinate UAT, and validate releases.
• Act as liaison with other business units as needed.
• Develop business requirements and specifications when necessary.
• Analyze data with stakeholders to craft solutions.
