Job summary
NRG Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes. You will become an expert on our products and manage service calls with an ownership mindset, building trust with clients and driving revenue through additional product offerings.

- Experience in retail, B2C sales, or service-based sales is a plus.
- Strong customer-first attitude and communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Earn piece rate pay and an unlimited commission plan.
- Become an expert on smart home technology by training on products.
- Manage inventory and assets with an owner mindset.
- Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home tech in customer homes.
- Create solutions to protect and simplify customers’ lives.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of company products.
- Explain system capabilities and usage to customers in clear terms.
- Leverage service and installation appointments into leads and revenue.
