Job summary

Spinneys Philippines is seeking a Skilled Baker with hands-on experience in English/Western bread and Arabic bread production to join our bakery team in Metro Manila. The role focuses on producing high-quality breads according to recipes and safety standards.

You will handle mixing, fermentation, shaping, and baking, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and work with shifting schedules including weekends and holidays to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker in a bakery, supermarket, hotel, or food production.
• Must be skilled in both English/Western bread and Arabic bread production.
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, proofing, shaping, and baking.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produce a variety of English/Western and Arabic breads according to recipes and quality standards.
• Handle the complete bread-making process including mixing, dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking.
• Prepare Arabic bread varieties such as Pita, Khubz, and other Middle Eastern breads.
• Prepare English/Western breads such as loaves, rolls, buns, and specialty breads.
• Ensure consistent quality, texture, taste, appearance, and freshness.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the bakery production area clean, organized, and safe.
