Job summary

Private Advertiser in Cebu is seeking a hands-on QA/QC Engineer to ensure construction works meet drawings, specs, standards, and quality requirements. You will participate in site inspections, material verification, testing, and documentation across structural and architectural activities.

You will work with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to identify quality concerns early, prevent rework, and drive timely corrective actions, while supporting project progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Civil Engineer preferred
• Experience in QA/QC, site engineering or building construction
• Familiarity with IR, MIR, ITP, NCR and QA/QC documentation
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical specs
• Willing to be assigned to project sites in Cebu

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections for compliance with drawings and standards
• Inspect concrete works, reinforcement, formworks, masonry, waterproofing, finishes
• Coordinate material inspections, testing, and verification
• Review IR, MIR, ITP, test reports, and quality records
• Identify NCRs and drive corrective action and closure
• Maintain QA/QC records, punch lists, and quality reports
• Coordinate with contractors and project team on inspections
• Suggest preventive measures to minimize defects
• Provide technical guidance to resolve site quality issues
• Support project team to achieve quality objectives while progress
