Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coordination, and monitoring of construction activities at the project site. Ensures that works are executed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the site.
- Ensure construction works are implemented according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Conduct site inspections and verify actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, workers, suppliers, and other project personnel.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work progress.
- Check dimensions, elevations, alignment, and workmanship of completed works.
- Prepare daily site reports, progress reports, inspection requests, and other required documentation.
- Identify site problems, discrepancies, and delays and immediately coordinate with the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
- Assist in quantity take-off, material verification, and progress measurement.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety personnel to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure that construction activities follow approved schedules and targets.
- Participate in site meetings and provide updates regarding construction progress.
- Perform other engineering and site-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site engineering.
- Experience in building construction, structural works, civil works, or similar projects.
Must be willing to work on-site and be assigned to project locations.- Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quantity measurements, and site documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and site supervision skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in school buildings, commercial buildings, government projects, or similar construction projects.
Experience working with subcontractors and construction crews.- Experience with DPWH projects is an advantage but not mandatory.
