Overview
The Project Site Engineer is a vital role in the construction industry, responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of construction projects. This position ensures architectural and design specifications are carried out accurately and efficiently, coordinating between architects, contractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines and quality standards. By effectively managing resources and addressing site challenges, the Project Site Engineer contributes to safety, structural integrity, and overall project success.
Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and coordination efforts, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and related parties to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, cost estimates, and progress updates.
- Supervise and validate payment processing for materials and completed works to ensure timely settlement of obligations to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients and management to report project status and address concerns.
- Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to address delays or issues.
- Prepare and present reports, including project updates, financials, and risk assessments to management and clients.
- Ensure successful project turnover and lead post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Knowledge in ODOO Management Software is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Must be a degree holder of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and legal documentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
